Edith

Our sweet Edith is ready to find her forever home! This lovely senior girl came to us in rough shape, suffering from a painful bladder stone and a severe urinary tract infection. Thankfully, our vet was able to surgically remove the stone and, after a course of antibiotics and pain medication, Edith is feeling so much better and is ready to enjoy her golden years. She's even had a dental cleaning, so her smile is bright and healthy! Edith is a Havanese mix who currently weighs 20 lbs, but a healthier weight for her would be around 15 lbs. She’d love an adopter who will help her with gentle walks and a reduced cookie intake to reach her ideal weight. Her coat was shaved upon arrival but is growing back beautifully, and she’ll be extra fluffy and adorable soon! Edith gets along well with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy as an only pet, as her true love is people. She is as loyal as they come and will make a wonderful companion.

Ongoing Health

Edith will require prescription dog food to prevent bladder stones from recurring. Her coat was shaved upon arrival but is growing back well. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming.
