Robin is a 1.5-year-old, 37 lb male Aussie Cattle Dog mix who is trim, lanky, and eager to be your best friend and sidekick! He was abandoned by his previous family but was lucky to find a foster who helped him settle in, and he repaid their kindness with lots of love and kisses. Robin does very well with other dogs, including a new foster puppy, and he adores children. He might do best with children over 8, as he still gets excited and wants to give sloppy kisses, but with some obedience training, he'll quickly learn to keep his paws on the floor. Robin is crate and potty trained and is learning to walk on a leash, though he may pull a bit initially as he's so excited to meet new people. Since he experienced abandonment, he may need a little extra time and reassurance to feel fully settled, but he is absolutely worth it. He would likely thrive in a more active home where he can get his energy out with runs, hikes, or playdates. Robin's ideal day would involve a brisk walk, making new friends, and then a cozy nap by your side.
Ideal Home
Robin would likely do best in a more active home where he can get plenty of exercise through runs, hikes, or doggy playdates. He adores children but may be best suited for a home with kids over 8 years old due to his enthusiastic greetings.
Ongoing Health
Robin is up-to-date on core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) and has been neutered and microchipped.
