Bear

Bear is a Miniature Pinscher mix with a huge heart and lots of love to give. Fostered in La Feria, Texas, he loves people and gets along with other dogs. This devoted little shadow wants to stay close to his human, whether you’re walking around the house or relaxing on the couch.

Ideal Home

Bear needs a loving family who understands his medical needs and can provide ongoing care. He would love to be a faithful companion and follow his person around the house.

Ongoing Health

Bear has an autoimmune disease managed with a low dose of prednisone. He has an old broken back leg but can still walk and run; his veterinarian recommended against amputation because of his autoimmune disease. He previously tested positive for heartworms and has completed treatment. He also recently had an umbilical hernia repaired.

Bear is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Bear is house-trained and loves people and other dogs.
