Masha is a stunning Alaskan Husky with captivating sky-blue eyes and a noble presence. Around 5 years old and weighing about 55 lbs, she’s a majestic dog who is calm, affectionate, and loves to be around people. Masha is eager to please, a quick learner, and possesses a wonderfully balanced temperament – loyal, brave, social, and loving. She's playful, fun, and her curious "chismosa" nature makes her even more charming. Masha does well in a crate for up to 12 hours and walks on a leash, though her excitement can cause her to pull a bit. She enjoys toys but can be protective of them, and when bored, she might chew on inappropriate items. True to her Husky nature, she’s talkative, loves to howl, and has a stubborn streak. Masha has been waiting five years for her forever home and deserves a life full of walks, runs, and exploration.
Ideal Home
Masha is looking for a very active family, preferably with other dogs and children, who understand the needs of rescued animals and have experience with dog behavior and training. Patience and tolerance are a must. She can be territorial with dominant dogs, though she’s not aggressive, she likes to establish herself as the boss. She is loving and gentle with children.
Ongoing Health
Masha is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and has received one month of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate is included.
Training & Support
Masha is not house-trained and has not been house-trained. She may chew on inappropriate items when bored and without toys. Due to her Husky traits, she can be stubborn and enjoys howling and barking. Prospective adopters should have experience with dog behavior and training, and be prepared for an adjustment period.
