Salvador

Salvador is a resilient and loving 3.5-year-old, 36 lb mixed breed boy who had a rough start in life. Found as a stray in Puerto Rico, he bravely battled and recovered from botulism and distemper. Despite these challenges, Salvador has truly flourished and is now a healthy, happy, and wonderfully affectionate companion ready to find his forever home. He absolutely adores playing with other dogs and would likely do well in a home with or without older children.

Ideal Home

Salvador will thrive in a home where he can continue to be the cherished companion he deserves to be. He loves playing with other dogs, so a home with canine friends would be wonderful, but he will also do well in a home without other pets. He is also comfortable with older children.

Ongoing Health

Salvador is currently healthy and up-to-date on all his vaccinations and preventatives. He is neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Salvador is a happy and curious boy who has overcome significant health hurdles. He is ready to bring joy to his new family.

Transportation

Salvador is currently located in Huntington, NY. Once adopted, he will be flown to Newark, NJ, where you will be able to pick him up to take him home.
