About Monarch May
Meet Monarch, a sensitive soul with a heart of gold who is ready to find her forever throne! Monarch is a slow-burn sweetheart who makes every milestone feel like a total victory. Once you've earned her trust, she transforms into a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up on the couch and keep her favorite person company. She's got a brilliant mind, a playful spirit, and just enough sass to keep you smiling every single day! Monarch is what we like to call a heart dog. While she might be a little reserved when meeting new faces, once she decides you're her person, she is all in! Give her some time to warm up, and she becomes the most tender, 'melt in your heart' companion you've ever met. She's a gorgeous Labrador and Malinois mix, tipping the scales at a perfect 40 pounds. She's been thriving in her foster home and has proven to be a total professional when it comes to kennel life! She is quiet and patient in her crate, making her a wonderful office mate or roommate. She's also a seasoned traveler who handles car rides like a pro. She is a smart cookie who is incredibly food motivated, making her an absolute dream for anyone who enjoys the bonding experience of training and teaching new tricks!
Ideal Home
Monarch would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can safely zoom and explore. She's a girl who loves her boundaries and her routine, so a house rather than a busy apartment would suit her best. She prefers a "canines and humans only" household and is looking for a cat-free castle where she can focus all her attention on her favorite people and pups. She does great with confident, aloof dogs who give her space to sniff and say hello at her own pace, and would be a perfect match for a home with a medium to low energy dog who can show her the ropes. Of course, she can also thrive just as well as your one and only!
