Johnny Cash is a spirited three-and-a-half-year-old Boxer/Husky mix with a striking brindle coat and charming white accents. He embodies a thrilling blend of wild adventure and devoted affection. Cash is a powerhouse of energy and joy, perfect for someone who craves the open trail, a daily runner’s high, or the quiet satisfaction of a long mountain hike. With his strong, athletic build and endless stamina, he's happiest logging long-distance adventures with his human. He recently crushed a 7½-mile hike through the valley, proving himself to be an incredible hiking companion. He’s not just a running buddy; he’s the kind who’ll carry his favorite chew bone to greet you at the door and then snuggle up close when the day is done. After a good walk or hike, Cash settles beautifully and is calm and relaxed in the house, but he's always ready for his next adventure at a moment’s notice!
At home, Cash is a big-hearted cuddlebug! He adores cozy time with his human family and is gentle and affectionate with children. His play style is impressively adaptable; he loves a good rough-and-tumble with another young dog but can also match the gentler vibe of a calmer canine companion. He gets along well with some dogs but has made it clear he's not a fan of French Bulldogs.
Ideal Home
Johnny Cash needs an experienced guardian who understands and can confidently manage his strong prey drive. He cannot live with cats or be trusted off leash under any circumstances. He pulls toward squirrels and small dogs on walks and must remain securely leashed at all times outdoors.

Cash is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He eats a good-quality grain-free diet and is currently doing great with digestion.
Training & Support
Cash is house-trained and obedience-trained. He knows sit, down, heel, go to place, and more! He thrives on structure and routine and is content being alone for up to six hours. His prey drive is strong and non-negotiable.
