Derk

Derk is an estimated 50 lbs full-grown, sweet boy who wants to be around his humans all day! He's still coming out of his shell, but once he trusts you, he's a homebody who loves his naps, playing with toys, chewing on bully sticks, and going for runs. He's a puppy, so he's full of energy and loves to play.

Ideal Home

Derk would do best in a household with an older, confident dog to help him feel more secure. He is great with kids of all ages. He dislikes loud, sudden noises and the vacuum cleaner.

Ongoing Health

Derk has received his spay/neuter, first three distemper vaccines and dewormings, rabies vaccine (age-appropriate), microchip, and is current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Training & Support

Derk is housebroken and crate trained, though he prefers not to be crated for extended periods. He knows how to "sit" before mealtime.
