Charlie - Urgent Foster or Adopter

Charlie is a beautiful 3-year-old, approximately 60-pound girl who was born into rescue and has known nothing but love throughout her life. She was raised in a foster home and then adopted with her sister by a family who adored them. For nearly three years, they lived a seemingly perfect life. However, it has become apparent that Charlie has developed sibling syndrome with her sister. After exhausting all options, her family has made the heartbreaking decision that Charlie needs a new home where she can truly thrive. This was not an easy decision, as they love Charlie dearly, but they know that finding her the right environment is what's best for her. Charlie is housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is wonderful with people, including children, and while she can be shy initially, she becomes incredibly loving once she feels comfortable. Charlie enjoys toys and bones and all the simple comforts of home.

Ideal Home

Charlie would be happiest as the only pet in the home. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet will be required to assess compatibility. Charlie is not being rehomed due to aggression or behavioral issues; she is losing her home due to circumstances beyond her control and deserves a stable environment.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has food allergies that are managed with a special diet and Apoquel. Otherwise, she is healthy.

Training & Support

Charlie is housebroken and crate trained and walks well on a leash. While she is shy when meeting new people, she is very loving once she feels comfortable.
