Meet Jimi Hendrix! This handsome Lab Mix, weighing in at 42lbs with an estimated birthday of 12/2/2025, is the perfect blend of cuddle bug, adventure buddy, and comedian. Jimi has a gentle and soulful nature that has captivated his foster, who describes him as the gentlest dog they've ever cared for. He's a total love bug who melts into your arms when held!

Jimi enjoys making new dog friends and engaging in playtime, while also being mindful of their boundaries. He's been unfazed by cats and even reptiles, though slow introductions and supervision are recommended with smaller animals due to his natural prey drive if startled by sudden movements.

Training & Support

Jimi is house-trained and crate-trained, walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, and has a great recall. He's still learning basic commands like "sit" but is highly motivated by treats and will thrive with positive reinforcement. As with many young dogs, Jimi is curious and explores with his mouth, so providing appropriate chew toys will be beneficial.
