Gladys

Gladys is a sweet, 3-year-old girl who came to us as a foster a year ago. She's a sturdy, brown dog with a love for naps and cuddles. Gladys is housebroken and has never had an accident indoors. While she's getting used to her crate for meals, it's not her favorite spot yet. She's learning new commands, like "sit" and "lay down," and responds well when she feels like it. She does have a tendency to linger near the kitchen during meal prep, and we're still working on that!

Gladys is a remarkably chill dog inside, enjoying her days napping on the couch or soaking up the sun. She believes she's a lap dog and will happily snuggle with you once she gets to know you. She used to be reactive towards other animals on walks, but after working with a trainer for a year, she's made great progress. She can now pass other animals with minimal barking and tugging.

Ideal Home

Gladys would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of cuddles. She is prejudiced and will never like cats.

Ongoing Health

Gladys has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Gladys is housebroken and working on crate training. She is learning commands but can be a bit stubborn. She used to be reactive on walks but has made significant progress with training. She may do well with a calmer, well-socialized dog.
