Meet Hovis — a 2-year-old, 30-pound bundle of personality, charm, and just a touch of goofball energy. Hovis is a certified snack enthusiast and a part-time lap dog, though he sometimes forgets his 30-pound size! He's dog-friendly and enjoys playing with his canine pals, but cats are still a mystery. Hovis thrives on affection, offering full-contact snuggles and enthusiastic greetings. He loves the outdoors and would appreciate a fenced yard, but daily adventures are his priority. He's still perfecting his leash skills when walking alone, but does well with a canine buddy to guide him. Hovis can be a bit shy with new people, but once he trusts you, he's a loyal friend for life. He's good with children aged 8 and up, as he can get excited and forget his size. Hovis is also a serious toy chewer, so durable toys are a must! If you're looking for an affectionate, funny, and loyal best friend, Hovis might be the one for you.

Ideal Home

Hovis would love a fenced yard but is flexible as long as he gets his daily adventures. He would do best with children 8 and up due to his size and excitement.
