Meet Snowflake!

Snowflake has already been through so much in her short little life. After her owner was told by their landlord that she couldn't stay, Snowflake was sadly offered for free on Craigslist, putting this tiny girl in a very dangerous situation. Thankfully, a good Samaritan saw the post, stepped in to save her, and through a series of rescue connections, Snowflake found her way to us.
Now safe in foster care, Snowflake is ready for the happy ending she deserves. She looks like a tiny Maltipoo mix and is absolutely adorable. She has spent her entire time with us in a loving foster home alongside several other small dogs and has done wonderfully. She can be nervous around larger dogs, but calm, gentle big dogs who are experienced with little pups may still be a good fit for her. Snowflake has also done well with respectful children. Her original rescuer had both a 5-year-old and a teenager, and Snowflake was sweet with them both. Because she's such a tiny girl, gentle handling is important. This little fluffball LOVES toys, enjoys playtime, and is just as happy curling up for cuddles. She's sweet, portable, affectionate, and would make an amazing companion for someone looking for a loving best friend.
Ideal Home
Snowflake would do well in a home with other small, calm dogs. She can be nervous around larger dogs, but a calm, gentle, and experienced big dog might still be a good fit. She has also done well with respectful children, but gentle handling is important due to her small size.

Transportation
Snowflake is located in San Diego County, CA. We will happily consider out-of-town applications and can conduct virtual playdates with interested adopters. We have monthly transport to various locations in the Pacific Northwest. Individual arrangements would need to be made for other locations across the US and Canada.
