Howdy! My name is Nico, and I'm a handsome 2-year-old German Shepherd weighing about 90lbs. I'm a big boy who loves to play and would make the best active companion for someone who enjoys daily walks, hikes, or runs. Being active is great for my mental and physical health! I'm food motivated, so training should be a breeze – a few treats and I'm all yours! I'm looking for an experienced owner who can provide the routine, structure, and consistency I thrive on, teaching me that I'm not the boss. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, and I get along well with large female dogs, so I'd love a canine friend to play chase with. If you're looking for a big, smart, athletic, and friendly companion, I'm your guy!

Ideal Home

A home with teenage or adult humans. I am not able to live in a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives, and I am neutered.

Training & Support

I need full obedience training. I thrive with routine, structure, and consistency, and I'm food motivated, which will help with training.

• All dogs are fostered in Tennessee unless otherwise noted.
• An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog.
• Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters by appointment only.
• Due to the high volume of applications, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications.
• Rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, so please be respectful of their time.

Transportation

I am currently being fostered in Greeneville, TN. Transport to the East Coast is available for an additional fee.
