Corky

Corky is a delightful neutered male pittie who will be celebrating his fourth birthday this May. He started his life as one of a litter abandoned at city hall in northeast Texas. Eventually, he found a home with a newly married couple, alongside his sister, where he excelled at learning commands and was the center of attention. Sadly, due to the couple's divorce and inability to afford both pups on a single income, Corky and his sister were returned to foster care.

Corky, so named for his charming corkscrew-like tail, is a fun-loving boy who was a favorite of his previous "daddy." He's blossomed in his foster mom's care and is now a true love bug. He is very smart and eager to please, especially when treats are involved! He enjoys his walks with a harness.

Ideal Home

Corky would thrive as an only dog in a home with a fenced yard. He is very animal reactive and does not play well with other animals. For this reason, we also ask that his new home have no small children. Corky has never shown aggression towards humans.

Corky is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Corky is a smart boy who will work for treats. He loves his harness walks, but it's important to note that he may not be comfortable in a dog park setting with other dogs.
