Chubbs is a 3-year-old scruffy terrier mix weighing just over 20 pounds. He may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he realizes he's safe, his sweet personality truly shines. All he needs is a little time, patience, and kindness to show you what a wonderful boy he is. Chubbs came to rescue after his previous owner fell on hard times. Since settling into his foster home, he's learned that life can be pretty great, filled with good meals, comfy beds, treats, and people who love him. Every day, his confidence continues to grow. This adorable little guy enjoys exploring the yard and sniffing around outside. Once he trusts you, he walks nicely on a leash and would happily join you for neighborhood walks or even hiking adventures. Chubbs is crate trained and does well when given regular potty breaks, though he'd much rather be spending time with his people. He is good with other dogs. With a patient adopter willing to let him settle in at his own pace, Chubbs will reward you with loyalty, love, and companionship.
