Lucy is a 2-year-7-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing 48 pounds, and she is as fun, loyal, and lovable as they come. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, and she is ready to find the forever home that will appreciate her sweet personality and adventurous spirit.
One thing Lucy absolutely loves is playing ball. While she is not especially interested in playing with other dogs, she will happily play fetch with her people for as long as your arm can keep throwing. Tennis balls are definitely one of her favorite things in the world. She even has her own funny little pool game dropping her ball into the water and then trying to paw it back out. She is not much of a swimmer, but she will dunk her head in and even step down into the first pool step, right up to her chest, to rescue her ball. It is just one of the many adorable things that makes Lucy so special.
Lucy is a wonderful mix of playful and laid-back. She loves adventures, rides great in the car, and is always ready to go if she thinks you might be heading to the vehicle. At home, she is calm, easygoing, and happy to do her own thing, but she also loves relaxing beside her people while they watch TV. She is the kind of dog who is just happy to be near you. She is friendly with all people and does well around her fosters 2.5-year-old granddaughter. Lucy is also a smart girl who already knows sit, walks beautifully on a leash, and is not much of a barker. Even when the other dogs are making noise, Lucy usually stays quiet though she will let you know if she spots a cat. Lucy is a loyal, loving companion with a great balance of fun and calm.
