Hi there! My name is Arty, and I'm an 11-month-old, 45-lb female Pit Mix with the sweetest soul. I'm the perfect blend of affectionate and independent – I love cozy snuggles just as much as having my own quiet time to relax.

Some of my favorite things include belly rubs, walks, tug-of-war, chew toys, squeaky toys, and romping around with other dogs. I haven't met any cats in my foster home yet, but I can absolutely be cat-tested if needed. I got to meet some kids at an adoption event recently and I did wonderfully with them! I also behaved myself beautifully and walked well on leash, even though it was busy! I do have one small quirk: I prefer a little personal space when I'm laying down and don't love faces being right up in mine – boundaries are important, after all! If you're looking for a happy, loving, well-balanced pup to add to your family, I just might be your girl!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can enjoy both affection and my own space. I did wonderfully with kids at an adoption event and enjoy playing with other dogs. I haven't met cats yet, but I can be tested! I do prefer some personal space when I'm resting and don't like faces being too close.

I am currently located in Texas and can be adopted locally or out of state. Ground transport is available and included in the adoption fee. We also offer video chats with fosters to ensure a good fit before adoption.
