Dune

Dune is a sweet, energetic pup who has overcome a challenging start to life. He was rescued from a hoarding situation, battled parvo, and was on the euthanasia list with his littermates. Thankfully, he and his siblings were brought into our care and are now thriving! Dune is ready to embark on his next great adventure: finding his forever home.

While Dune and his siblings were raised together, they appear to be from different litters, each with their own unique personality. Dune shares common herding breed traits: he's sharp, driven, playful, and always eager for an activity. He possesses a high food drive and high toy drive, making him incredibly fun to train and engage with, and he's building well on his obedience. Dune is a confident and playful boy, always ready to dive into the action and see what's next!

Ideal Home

Dune will thrive with continued structure, consistency, and plenty of outlets for his mental and physical energy. Experience with herding breeds is a big plus. As he's still a puppy, continued socialization is important. He would also benefit from a confident resident dog, though this is not a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Dune is a survivor and has beaten parvo. Our rescue does not sterilize puppies until they are at least 6 months old. Until then, puppies are available for foster-to-adopt, with adoption finalized after surgery.

Training & Support

Dune is eager to please and trainable, especially with his high drives. He would excel in trick training, dog sports, hiking, and jogging.
