Cutie

Hello! My name is Cutie, but my foster mom often calls me Q.T. or Cutie Patootie because I'm just that adorable! I'm a playful and affectionate Lab mix, around 2-3 years old and weighing 42 lbs. I absolutely love to snuggle and play. My foster mom says I have a lot of energy, so I'd do best in a home with older children and an active family who enjoys going for walks and runs. I'm a fantastic fetch player and love to retrieve, though I sometimes get a little too enthusiastic with tug-of-war and need a little reminder to release my toys. When it's time to relax, I'm all about snuggling and can happily snooze in your lap for hours.

Ideal Home

I would thrive in an active home with older children. I also get along wonderfully with my furry foster brother and would love a canine companion, but I might be a little selective about new doggy friends. My foster mom believes slow introductions are key!

Training & Support

I know "sit" and "go to my room" (my kennel), which I use for sleeping at night and when my foster mom is at work. I'm still a puppy at heart and might chew on things, but I'm generally very good about sticking to my toys, though socks and hair ties can sometimes catch my eye. I love being outside, and sometimes I just need a little extra encouragement to come inside when called.
