Mabel is a 2.5-year-old, 64-pound pit bull mix who is spayed and vaccinated. She was found abandoned and frightened but has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate girl who adores people. Mabel's favorite activities include snuggling, giving kisses, going for car rides, and receiving plenty of attention. She is outgoing and has a big heart, showing particular gentleness and patience with children, even those with autism. She enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs and is learning to manage her excitement during playtime. Mabel is making good progress with leash manners and would likely do well with a playful dog companion or as the only pet. She would likely do best in a home without cats. Mabel can be left unsupervised without being destructive and prefers sleeping with her people rather than in a crate. She may need a little extra patience and support during vet visits.
Ideal Home
An ideal home for Mabel would be one filled with love, cuddles, and comfortable spaces where she can be close to her humans. She would thrive with people who appreciate a loyal, affectionate, and goofy dog with a big heart.
Ongoing Health
Mabel is spayed and vaccinated. She may appreciate a little extra patience and support during vet visits and certain procedures.
