Amber is a 45-pound bundle of joy with an estimated birthday of February 17, 2024. This German Shepherd/Kelpie/Beagle mix may be young, but she's already a remarkably well-behaved pup! She was found on the euthanasia list at a local shelter, but thankfully, Sunnyside Street Dogs stepped in just in time to save her. Now, Amber is safe, sound, and ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves.
Amber is impressively crate trained and will happily settle into her kennel, patiently awaiting a treat. She's also potty trained, making her a wonderful and easy companion to have around the house. She absolutely loves to play and has a silly, endearing personality. While she enthusiastically chases a ball, she's still mastering the "bring it back" part! She enjoys her toys, particularly hard chews, and her energetic zoomies are sure to bring a smile to your face. Her quirky barks at feeding time are just another one of her charming traits. What truly sets Amber apart is her incredibly sweet and loving nature. She adores kisses, hugs, and being called a "pretty girl," soaking up all the affection with her soulful eyes.

Amber is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Amber is learning her manners when meeting other dogs and can initially come on a little strong, but she's making great progress. She will also need continued work on her leash skills.

Transporation
Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
