Buttons is a 4-year-old Hound mix with a gentle and easygoing personality. She arrived at the shelter underweight but is now steadily gaining weight and feeling so much better. She’s a mellow girl who enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like short walks, naps in the sun, and being close to her people. Buttons walks nicely on a leash and is very treat-motivated, making her a wonderful and easy companion. She is not a high-energy dog and would be a perfect fit for someone looking for a calm, steady presence. She would do well in a quieter home, with an older couple, or anyone who simply wants a sweet dog to share their space with. Buttons doesn't ask for much – just a safe place, a little patience, and someone to love her.
