Ashton

Meet Ashton, a happy and energetic 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever! Ashton was returned to us because his family was moving, and he's been adjusting to shelter life since he was a puppy. Despite this big change, he's taking it all in stride and still has a huge zest for life! Ashton's favorite game is fetch – he'll happily bring the ball right back for another throw. He loves being active and spending quality time with his people. He's a strong boy who sometimes forgets his size, but he's incredibly sweet and has gotten along wonderfully with the other dogs here at the shelter. He's a large guy with a personality to match!

Ashton is looking for a family who will commit to him for life and provide him with the stability he deserves after losing the only home he's ever known.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will receive treatment here at the shelter. He will need a family committed to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care moving forward to keep him happy and healthy.

Training & Support

Ashton is a strong boy who doesn't always realize his size. With a little patience and guidance, he'll surely settle into his new home.
