Groot

Groot is the head of the welcome committee and self-appointed assistant manager of your household! He's a 45-pound, long-legged goober who has somehow convinced himself that he's in charge of everything. He's always there to supervise breakfast, trash taking, and mail checking. He's a backyard explorer, quality control specialist, and morale officer all rolled into one. Groot's ears are enormous, and he can hear a treat bag opening from miles away! He loves exploring outside and making sure the squirrels are behaving. He especially loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. Groot is fully house trained, crate trained, and knows several commands. He's a sweet, playful, and funny dog who will undoubtedly become your best friend.

Ideal Home

Groot would love a home with another playful dog to share adventures with. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pet and family.

Ongoing Health

Groot has no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Groot is fully house trained and crate trained. He knows sit, lay down, give paw, "go eat," "go outside," and "go for a walk." He is eager to please and responds well to praise.

Transporation

Groot is currently being fostered in MA. He will be transported to his forever home by our rescue, with transports departing each week.
