Ava

Meet Ava, a delightful 1-year-old, 58-pound Anatolian, Maremma, and Shepherd mix who is ready to bring joy to her forever home! Ava is a smart and loyal girl who enjoys a good romp in the yard, chasing leaves, and then settling down for a cozy nap. She absolutely adores her people and is a champion cuddler. While she's the more observant of her siblings, she warms up to new friends, including other dogs, with a little time. Ava also has a protective streak and will alert you to anything unusual, making her a wonderful guardian. She has a healthy appetite for treats like cheese, peanut butter, and ice cubes!

Ideal Home

Ava would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can explore and "patrol" her territory. She'll need plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep her happy and well-behaved, as she enjoys roaming and needs an active outlet.

Ongoing Health

Ava has received her first set of puppy shots, has been de-wormed, and is micro-chipped. Her adopter will receive a $150 refund upon proof of spay.

Training & Support

Ava is slightly more dominant than her sister and does best with slow introductions to new dogs. She is submissive to resident dogs, even smaller ones. She loves to play and explore, and her natural guarding instincts mean she'll alert you to anything out of the ordinary.
