Buckle

Buckle is a charming 6-month-old Hound mix with a mellow personality. He enjoys playtime but isn't overly energetic. He's already made great progress with house training and is learning to do his business outside. Buckle is also crate trained and leash trained, making him a well-rounded companion. He has a history of getting along well with other dogs and has been introduced to children as young as 6. Weighing 30 pounds, and with a mother who weighs 35 pounds, Buckle is expected to be a medium-sized adult dog. He was born into an unwanted litter and has been in our care since he was 5 weeks old, receiving all necessary veterinary treatment. Now, he's eagerly awaiting his forever person!

Ideal Home

Buckle would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to grow and learn. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has experience with children, making him a potentially great addition to a family.

Ongoing Health

Buckle has completed his veterinary care and is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. He is microchipped, heartworm negative, and currently on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Buckle is already crate trained and leash trained. He is also nearing mastery of house training, with ongoing efforts to ensure he consistently potties outside. His friendly and eager-to-please nature suggests he'll continue to excel with positive reinforcement and consistent guidance.
