Whoopi - A Sweet Girl Hoping for a Miracle

Whoopi is an unforgettable girl with a sweet disposition and a heart full of love. She was found abandoned and alone, but thankfully, her journey led her to rescue where she's been treated for heartworm and is now on the road to a full recovery. Whoopi is a natural lovebug who adores belly rubs, face scratches, and being close to her people. She enjoys cuddling, especially in bed, and while she has moments of playful energy, she's mostly a calm and easygoing companion who is happiest napping by your side. Her charming smile and squishy cheeks are sure to steal your heart.

Whoopi is also a bright girl who is already potty trained, knows "sit," and quickly picks up on routines. She's respectful in the home, only chews on her toys, and enjoys car rides. She's shown herself to be deeply loyal and devoted, forming an incredible bond with her family.

Ideal Home

Whoopi would do best in a home without cats. We are still learning about her interactions with other dogs, as she had one incident with a dog known to be aggressive; it's unclear who started it. A fenced yard would be ideal as she continues to build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

Whoopi has been treated for heartworm and is recovering well.

Training & Support

Whoopi is making excellent progress with leash training and has learned quickly with a prong collar. She is also doing well with her introduction to other dogs and continued socialization is recommended.
