Meet Max Cooper! This handsome, deaf boy is bursting with personality, love, and endless entertainment. Max absolutely adores car rides and would thrive with someone who spends a lot of time on the road and can take him along on adventures. Whether it's a quick trip to town or a cross-country journey, Max is happiest when he's riding shotgun, ready to be your co-pilot through life! When he's not on the move, you'll likely find him engrossed in a game of fetch with his favorite ball, a pastime he could enjoy for hours. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his goofy antics are guaranteed to bring laughter and joy into your home. Max is incredibly affectionate and loves to be close to his people, forming strong bonds and enjoying both playtime and cuddles.
Ideal Home
Max would do best as the only dog in the home, as he can be protective of his food. Due to his deafness, an adult-only home is preferred. A calm, understanding environment is key, as he can be startled if approached unexpectedly.
Ongoing Health
Max is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Like many deaf dogs, Max can be startled if approached unexpectedly, so a calm, understanding environment will help him feel secure and confident. He comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org, which includes access to trainers and behaviorists, as well as online resources for settling your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).
