Barnaby

Barnaby is an approximately 10-month-old, 18lb bundle of joy! He's still very much a puppy and learning the ropes of indoor living after being a stray. Barnaby is incredibly affectionate, friendly, playful, and agile. While he may be a little shy with new people initially, he warms up very quickly.

Ideal Home

Barnaby thrives with constant companionship and needs a patient adopter who can help him overcome his mild separation anxiety. He is food possessive with other dogs and can be wary of new dog introductions, so controlled introductions with non-reactive dogs are a must. Barnaby should not be taken to off-leash dog parks.

Ongoing Health

Barnaby is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and has received flea treatment.

Training & Support

Barnaby's house training is progressing well. He needs to learn leash manners and basic commands. He can jump high and access counters, but this is manageable with supervision and training. His adopter will need to help him build confidence with being left alone, and manage his food possessiveness by feeding him separately from other dogs.
