Meet Hazel, a sweet-natured girl who is ready to melt into your life and become your most loyal companion. Get ready to be swooned, as this 45-pound Shepherd mix is a certified cutie with a heart of gold! Hazel is the ultimate partner for someone looking to add a smart, gentle, and highly motivated best friend to their family. She's a true little shadow who lives for human connection and that special, once-in-a-lifetime bond. Hazel is the perfect blend of social butterfly and focused companion, currently thriving in a foster home with a pack of dogs and a 4-year-old child. Although she can be a little reserved when first meeting new people, she warms up quickly with slow introductions and becomes everyone's best friend by the end of a playdate. Hazel genuinely loves being around other dogs, greeting them politely on leash and then happily engaging in gentle play. She's a loyal sidekick who is already crate trained and ready for her next adventure.
Ideal Home
Hazel would truly thrive in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and explore, as she loves having her own space to roam, play with her favorite toys, and hang out with her favorite human. She is looking for a home without feline friends so she can shower all her attention and affection on her human and canine companions.
Ongoing Health
Hazel is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, and a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Hazel is already crate trained and demonstrates sweet and observant playstyle.
