Kim is a lively and loving 1-year-old male mix of Border Collie and Labrador, weighing around 32 lbs. He's a joyful spirit who's always up for an adventure! Kim can be a little shy at first and needs time to decompress and build trust, but once he does, he's incredibly sweet and funny. He's a very smart boy and will thrive with consistent training, showing you just how wonderful he can be. Kim enjoys playing with other dogs and is also cat-friendly. He's already leash-trained, crate-trained, and does well on car rides! Kim was found abandoned at our doorstep and, after a positive parvo diagnosis, received extensive veterinary care and has fully recovered.
Ideal Home
Kim would do best in an active home with families who enjoy outdoor activities and have a fenced backyard. He needs a patient family with open minds about the needs of rescued animals, and ideally, some experience with dog behavior and training.
Ongoing Health
Kim has fully recovered from parvo and has a clean bill of health. His health protocol includes a Spay/Neuter Certificate, DHPPI and Rabies Vaccines, Bordetella Vaccine, deworming, microchip, a 4DX Test and Certificate, a Negative Heartworm Test Certificate, and he is on monthly Nexgard Spectra (fleas, ticks, and heartworm) preventive. He also has a Health Certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Kim is not yet house-trained. He's very smart and eager to please, making him a perfect candidate for further training. He will need continued patience and understanding as he settles into his new home.

Transportation
Kim is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee of $400.00.
