Meet Nessarose — or as her friends call her, Nessa!

Nessa is a 1-year-old, 40 lb spayed female Beagle/Pit Mix with a heart full of happiness and a tail that never stops wagging. We're convinced she's never had a bad day in her life... and if she has, she's already forgotten about it! She is affectionate, enthusiastic, and full of life, making her an amazing companion for an active, loving home.

Ideal Home

Nessa loves being part of whatever her people are doing. She gets along beautifully with every dog she meets and is wonderful with both adults and kids. She enjoys having toys to keep her busy.

Ongoing Health

Nessa is a healthy girl who has been spayed.

Training & Support

Nessa is extremely food-motivated and a dream to train. She already knows sit, down, and place, and she even enjoys working on the treadmill! She is fully house-trained and is on a reliable schedule, needing to go out about 15–20 minutes after meals. When her people are away, Nessa does great in her crate, settling in calmly. She likes to keep something in her mouth, and as long as she has toys available, she makes great choices and stays busy.

• From there, we'd schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home.

Nessa is located at our rescue. We are able to transport to various locations within our network.
