Scout

Scout and her siblings were rescued as tiny, day-old puppies. While two of her siblings have found their forever homes, Scout is still patiently waiting for her special person. She's a handsome lab mix with a strong, stocky build and a shiny coat.

Ideal Home

Scout is a shy and skittish girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can take her time to settle in and learn to trust. She would do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog who can be her role model and show her the ropes of being a happy, well-adjusted dog.

Ongoing Health

Scout has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She also receives monthly heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Scout is nervous around new people, but is good with her rescuer. She needs a home that can provide her with a calm environment and plenty of positive reinforcement to help her gain confidence. Her foster family has seen how much a similar dog can blossom in the right home, and they are hopeful for the same for Scout.
