Thomas is a 3-year-old Pittie-retriever mix who is sure to steal your heart! He's a total goofball, incredibly people-focused, and absolutely adores other dogs. Thomas is also fantastic at playing fetch and is great with kids. He's even a wonderful office companion, happy to relax by your side while you work. If you're looking for a loving, gentle, and affectionate dog, Thomas is your guy. He's a snuggle bug who believes he's a lap dog, showering his humans with kisses and affection. Thomas has spent time with children ages 3 to 13 and gets along famously with them all. He also has excellent house manners, is reliably house-trained, and loves his couch time.

Training & Support
Thomas is a super smart, treat-motivated dog who is highly trainable. He already knows commands like sit, down, "leave it," and fetch. He's gentle when taking treats, making training enjoyable. He is also fully crate-trained and does best with a chew toy like a Kong for enrichment when in his crate. He loves car rides and walks beautifully on a leash, especially with a gentle lead, which will be included with his adoption.

Transporation
Thomas is located in Texas and can be transported to various US states and Canada through our internal transport service. Transport to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada is available. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
