Chanterelle

Chanterelle is a sweet young pup who recently arrived with a litter of puppies. While we don't know where her little ones are, our focus has been on helping Chanterelle get back to feeling like herself. She's a playful girl who loves to sneak treats whenever she can! Chanterelle is now ready for a life filled with love and attention, just for being her wonderful self.

Chanterelle would likely do best in a home where she can continue to learn and grow.

Chanterelle is spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Chanterelle is not yet house-trained and will need ongoing guidance and patience to learn this skill.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present to meet dogs.
• We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.

Transportation

Chanterelle is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome daily from 12pm to 7pm. Please plan to arrive before 5:30pm if you wish to adopt the same day.
