About KING

This handsome boy is KING, an approximately 6-8-year-old Lab mix who embodies the perfect blend of energy and sweetness! With a fluffy tail that's sure to turn heads, KING is a 10 out of 10 for energy and loves to play and run. He's a well-rounded athlete, weighing around 55 lbs, and is friendly with people, children, and other dogs. He hasn't been exposed to cats, so a feline-free home would be best. KING is a smart and independent companion who doesn't require constant attention. He's a good boy who understands commands like "crate" and "quiet," and he's not a big barker, though he will alert you to anything unusual. While he enjoys his meals and treats, he doesn't have a strong food or prey drive. KING can be a bit reserved with affection, but when he leans in for a face rub, your heart will melt. He's already crate and house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He's also free from storm and separation anxiety. KING rides well in the car, enjoying the view from the window, and he's a dream on leash during walks. After a good day of activity and enrichment, he's ready to relax and chill. KING was found abandoned and injured, but he's fully recovered and his past doesn't hold him back. He deserves the very best home that can provide him with an active and healthy lifestyle.

Ideal Home

A family with an active lifestyle, a yard, and a commitment to showing KING what a great life can be.

Ongoing Health

KING has physical scars from a past injury, but they do not impact his ability to live a full and active life.

Training & Support

KING is crate and house-trained and doesn't have significant behavioral issues. He has a history of chewing plastic water bowls, so metal bowls are recommended.
