Meet Peter Pan, a charming and curious 9-week-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who currently weighs about 3 pounds and is still growing. Found abandoned on the streets of Houston with his littermates, this tiny adventurer loves exploring but always comes back for playtime and snuggles. He has a gentle spirit and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war. Peter Pan is social and we believe he will do well with children, cats, and other dogs when introduced appropriately. Given his small size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions should be supervised. Because his parentage is unknown, his adult size is a mystery, so be prepared for puppy surprises!
Ideal Home
A home where someone is present more often than not to help with socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, a second adult must be available to care for him during the day. We are looking for a home that understands the commitment to raising a young puppy, including consistent training and supervision. Homes with resident pets should ensure they are gentle and experienced with very small dogs, with supervised interactions.
Ongoing Health
Peter Pan is a young puppy and will require continued care and monitoring as he grows.
Training & Support
As a young puppy, Peter Pan is still learning potty and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue consistent training with frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and patience. He thrives with structure, routine, and supervision.
