REX, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, a volunteer FAV

Meet Rex, Rexie the Bestie! This bubbly, outgoing guy is looking for his forever family. Rex loves to play, sit for treats, and shower his people with validation and guaranteed kisses. He's a certified snuggler who thinks he's a lap dog, even at nearly 70 lbs! Rex was rescued as a stray and has overcome a difficult start in life. He's proven to be a hit at adoption events, happily mingling with people at a local bar and even joining volunteers for dinner at a dog-friendly restaurant.

Ideal Home

Rex is described as dog selective, friendly with proper introductions, and enjoys the company of female dogs.

Ongoing Health

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rex is kennel and potty trained. He is eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transporation

Rex is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included and pickup locations may vary, including nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track their dog's journey using the Life360 app or through Facebook chats.
