Deacon is a true lover boy, ready to be your perfect partner, and he's great with kids. He also has a passion for squeaky toys – no squeak is too big or too small for him to enthusiastically embrace! Deacon has been bounced around a bit, so he's learned the importance of love and trust. Because of this, he can be a little slow to warm up to new people, but once he bonds with you, he'll be your most devoted furry companion, always wanting to be by your side. He's a resilient boy, navigating the world and overcoming challenges with grace.

Ideal Home

Deacon will thrive in an only-dog household. He enjoys playful interactions with cats, reminiscent of a fun game of Tom & Jerry. A fenced yard would be wonderful, giving him the space to unleash his Olympic-level jumping skills! He needs a patient adopter who understands his need for slow introductions to new people, places, and things.

Training & Support

Deacon is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He has experience working with multiple trainers. The training he received comes with lifetime training touch-ups, subject to the adoption location. Once he's settled in his new home, a trainer will provide sessions to help him acclimate. They also offer group training sessions most Saturdays at local parks.
