Meet Gina! This delightful 1-year-old spayed female Belgian Malinois mix, weighing 56lbs, is ready to find her forever family. Gina had a rough start in life, found abandoned in a cardboard box near a busy road as a tiny puppy. Thankfully, she was rescued and is now thriving in a loving foster home, eagerly awaiting her chance at a happy life with you!
Ideal Home
Gina would thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of daily play and exercise. She enjoys the company of other dogs and currently lives happily with small dogs (under 15 lbs) and large dogs (over 75 lbs). She needs a cat-free home, as she gets a bit too excited by neighborhood kitties. While Gina adores humans, she hasn't been around children. Due to her energetic nature and lack of experience with kids, a home with older, dog-savvy children (10 and up) would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Gina is a healthy and happy pup! All her veterinary needs have been met.
Training & Support
Gina is house and crate trained and can be crated for up to 8 hours. She walks well on a leash and shows no signs of separation anxiety. She's a smart girl who loves toys and has learned to play fetch, but she's also happy to entertain herself! Gina does prefer to eat her treats alone and is in a "puppy velociraptor stage," so she'll need guidance on appropriate chewing habits. She may be a little apprehensive of unfamiliar or larger dogs due to a past negative experience, so slow introductions are recommended.
