Meet Oliver, affectionately known as Ollie!
Ollie is a spirited six-and-a-half-year-old Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix with a striking black coat and white accents. Weighing around 65 pounds, he's a smart, independent, and incredibly loyal companion. Ollie is a well-trained boy who comes when called, walks beautifully on a leash, and knows an impressive array of commands like "sit," "lay down," "stay," "spin," "paw," "go home," "go to crate," and even "roll over"! He's highly motivated by treats, especially peanut butter, and enjoys learning when he receives clear communication and positive reinforcement. Ollie is adaptable to daily life, happy to join you on long hikes, leisurely strolls, or peaceful naps. He loves splashing in water, chasing sticks, and exploring his surroundings with his curious nature. Ollie is also very attuned to the emotions of his people, ready to join in the fun or happily relax on his own terms.
Ideal Home
Ollie would thrive in a loving home without children and as the only pet. He'd do best in a calm, structured environment with plenty of space to roam and explore. He needs an experienced pet parent who can recognize his body language, respect his boundaries, and is comfortable managing resource guarding.
Ongoing Health
Ollie receives daily medication to help manage anxiety.
