Lakes

Lakes is a 2-year-old, 45lb pit mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life! She's a snuggly companion who enjoys being around her favorite people. Lakes has some "stranger danger" and takes a little time to warm up to new faces, especially men, but with gentle and slow introductions, she quickly blossoms. She's a playful pup who loves her toys and is known to get the zoomies when she's been inside for a while. Lakes is also sociable with other dogs and enjoys showing off her tricks, especially when a treat is involved! She's a smart cookie, responding well to basic commands and making great progress with "paw" and "lay down." When she's not playing, Lakes loves long walks and finding cozy spots for a nap. One of her many adorable quirks is her ability to find her bed no matter where it's placed – even in the trunk of a car! She's vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Ideal Home

Lakes would thrive in an adult-only home. She would also do well with a canine playmate.

Training & Support

Lakes is crate trained and potty trained. She responds well to basic commands and is learning new tricks. She can be shy around new people, especially men, and benefits from slow, gentle introductions.
