Hi… my name is Chito (3) and I’m about 7 months old. Some people think I might be an Australian Shepherd mix.

I was rescued in La Rumorosa. A kind person used to feed me, but couldn’t take me in because they already had other dogs. One day, when some people came to measure a piece of land, they were asked to take me with them, because I was often attacked by other animals, and they said yes. Through the adoption program, I was dewormed, vaccinated, and neutered.

I can be a little shy… probably because of everything I’ve been through. I do live around kids, but I get scared easily. Even so, I’m still a puppy, so I like to explore and sometimes get a bit mischievous; I may even break my toys.

I have a dog companion, but since he’s much bigger and heavier than me, I tend to hide. With other dogs, though, I’ve done well and can socialize nicely.

Something important about me… I’m a really good escape artist, so mesh fencing isn’t very safe for me.
