BENJI 2 (Playful, Independent, Loves Dogs and People and Handsome)

Benji is a stunning 8-month-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix with the most beautiful light green eyes you've ever seen. His long legs make him look bigger than he is, and he's even cuter with his four little white socks and freckles on his nose. Benji came into rescue because his previous owners' dog became pregnant unexpectedly, but despite his start, Benji has nothing but love to give and is ready for a family to choose him forever. He LOVES people and does GREAT with other dogs. His favorite things are playing tug, running around with his doggy friends, and carrying his beloved stuffie toys everywhere. Benji isn't much of a barker, rides wonderfully in the car, and enjoys being part of whatever his people are doing. He may give a bark when someone new arrives, but it's just his way of checking things out.

Ideal Home

Benji would love an active home that will keep his smart little mind busy. He may love agility training!

Ongoing Health

Benji is neutered, microchipped, and current on shots.

Training & Support

Benji is crate trained and currently working on house training. He does okay on leash. Because of his independent personality and long legs that can jump high, he might thrive in a home that understands his need for engagement.
