Coal

Coal is a handsome boy, estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing approximately 65 pounds. He was brought to us from Morgan County Animal Control, and we just had to bring him home, especially since he was the last of his siblings to be rescued. Coal is believed to be a mix of Shar-Pei, Labrador, and Bully breeds, though his exact mix is unknown. He’s a sweet boy who absolutely loves toys, treats, and attention!

Ideal Home

Coal would thrive in a home ready to provide structure and routine. He needs a home without cats. While he has had positive interactions with older children who respected his boundaries, potential adopters with children should still be mindful of this.

Ongoing Health

Coal is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

As with many shelter dogs, Coal will need some work with housebreaking, but we are confident he will learn quickly with a consistent routine. Some basic training will also be very beneficial to help him understand expectations and build his confidence.
