Georgie

Meet Georgie! This 50-lb, 2.5-year-old goofball is fully vetted, crate trained, potty trained, and house trained. He's the definition of affectionate, a true snuggle bug who believes he's a lap dog and loves to lean his whole body into you – it's one of his favorite ways to show love! Georgie greets everyone with enthusiasm and a wagging tail, no matter what he's been through. He adores people and kids, and enjoys the company of other dogs.

Ideal Home

A home that understands his affection can be enthusiastic, so while he loves kids, supervision is important to prevent very small children from being accidentally knocked over. He would not be a good fit for a home with cats or very small animals.

Ongoing Health

Georgie is heartworm positive and has completed treatment. His burns have healed but he will carry some scars.

Training & Support

Georgie has some resource guarding with food and toys, which is an ongoing area of focus. He's a people-pleaser, food-motivated, and eager to learn, making training manageable with the right approach.
