Arnold

Arnold is a handsome boy with a heart of gold, waiting patiently for his forever family. He's about 10 months old and has been in boarding longer than we'd like, longing for a comfortable home environment. Arnold is 86% Beagle, with hints of Bassett and Labrador in his DNA. He has the characteristic longer body of a Bassett but a voice that is all Beagle! Arnold and his companions, Dempster and Queenie, were sadly abandoned after their owner passed away. They all tested positive for heartworms and tick-borne diseases, and Arnold, like his friends, has experienced some neglect. However, with a little time and a lot of love, he's learning to trust humans again. He thrives with the companionship of other confident, well-socialized dogs and would benefit greatly from a foster or foster-to-adopt home. Arnold is a sweet soul who needs extra cuddles and human interaction to build his confidence.

Ideal Home

Arnold would do best in a home with other confident, well-socialized dogs. He needs a patient family who can help him adjust to home life and build his trust.

Ongoing Health

Arnold tested positive for heartworms and is on a slow-kill treatment plan. He may also have tick-borne diseases and requires ongoing medical care.

Training & Support

Arnold is still learning to trust humans and build confidence. He benefits from plenty of positive human interaction and cuddles. He is good with other dogs.
