Waldo

Meet Waldo! Waldo is a 1.5-year-old bundle of love with a heart as big as his energy. He's a unique mix of Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier, Boxer, and a touch of German Shepherd. Waldo was adopted by a wonderful older couple who adore him, but have realized he's a bit too much dog for them to handle physically. This isn't a reflection of Waldo's behavior, but rather a testament to his strength and zest for life. He has a wonderfully gentle mouth when taking treats and has shown kindness to the cats in his current home. He also greets other dogs with warmth and enthusiasm. Waldo has a quirky and joyful play style, often burying his toys in bushes – it’s just part of his charming personality!

Waldo needs a younger or stronger individual who can confidently handle his leash and match his energetic spirit.

Ongoing Health

Waldo is a distemper survivor, and this resilience comes with a few quirks:

• He occasionally loses his footing on stairs and can slide on slippery floors when excited. Carpet or runners can help with stability.

Training & Support

Waldo has worked with a trainer and is not a "bad dog" by any means. He is an enthusiastic and joyful dog who loves deeply and lives fully. His new family should be prepared to offer patience and support as he navigates his physical quirks.
