Roxy is a gorgeous 48 lb girl that is as sweet as they come! We think she is mixed with part giraffe with how long her legs are! She could be a little gazelle; she is just as adorable as one. She is approximately 2 years old and was found in January of 2026 in a cemetery with about 12+ other dogs. She was fending for herself, finding food, water and shelter where and when she could. This awesome girl absolutely loves other dogs; big and small. She is a big cuddler, she just loves to next to her human and snuggling up wherever she can. Roxy's favorite activities include playing with her toys and gently chasing the farm pigs. She is a loyal dog, a shadow, wanting to be next to her human more often than not.
Ideal Home
Roxy would thrive in a home that is medium active, with other dogs for her to play with and tire herself out. Someone that can provide regular play time, exercise, and training for this almost perfect little girl!
Ongoing Health
Roxy has received a 30-day course of antibiotics for heartworm and will need to stay on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months, followed by a retest. She is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and up-to-date on de-wormer. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Roxy is crate trained but prefers not to be crated. She is quiet and chills when left alone inside the house. She is great with well-behaved children. Be aware that Roxy is a bit of an escape artist and loves to explore and go on adventures, especially in the woods. She comes back immediately when called.
